ECHOES ATX | Local Donation Pickup & Delivery Volunteers

Help us bring community support to In Living Memory!

We're looking for a few dependable Austin-area volunteers who can help collect small in-kind donations from local businesses and deliver them to the ECHOES team or Carver Museum ahead of our November exhibition.

Donations help us offer refreshments, giveaways, and other small gestures of appreciation to the artists, volunteers, and neighbors who make this free exhibition possible.

Current needs include a small book donation available beginning November 3 and a coffee pickup required on November 13 before 4 PM. Exact pickup times and addresses will be coordinated directly with volunteers once the donors finalize their arrangements.

We're especially interested in volunteers who have access to reliable transportation, can communicate clearly about their availability, and are comfortable carrying small supplies.

You may be asked to photograph or confirm receipt of items, follow donor pickup instructions, and coordinate drop-off with the ECHOES team.

Volunteer drivers will only be assigned after transportation arrangements, permissions, and any applicable coverage requirements have been reviewed.

This is a flexible, unpaid volunteer opportunity. You do not need to be available for both pickups.

Preferred qualifications

• Reliable communication and punctuality.
• Access to transportation suitable for the donation.
• Comfort following donor instructions and coordinating pickup/drop-off times.
• Ability to move the specific items involved, or willingness to request assistance.
• Basic organization and ability to confirm delivery.
• Valid driving authorization and appropriate vehicle insurance where applicable, subject to review by the responsible organization.
