ECHOES ATX | Community Donation Pickup Volunteers

COMMUNITY DONATION PICKUP VOLUNTEERS
Two local pickups for In Living Memory

Thanks to generous local Austin businesses, ECHOES ATX has received offers of books and coffee for In Living Memory, our free exhibition at the Carver Museum. We're looking for volunteers who can collect a donation and bring it to our exhibition team.

You can help with just one pickup. No ongoing commitment is necessary.

1. BookPeople — Donated Books

- Pickup location: BookPeople, Austin. Exact pickup details will be shared directly with the assigned volunteer.
- When: After November 3, 2026, once BookPeople confirms the donation is ready. The store is open 9 AM–9 PM daily, so pickup is flexible.
- What: Approximately 8–15 donated books for artist and community giveaways.
- Instructions: We’ll share pickup instructions directly after confirming your assignment. An early-November pickup would let us include books in pre-opening giveaways.

2. Texas Coffee Traders — Opening-Night Coffee

- Pickup location: Texas Coffee Traders warehouse in Austin. Exact pickup details will be shared directly with the assigned volunteer.
- When: Friday, November 13, 2026. Proposed pickup 3:30–4 PM, pending final confirmation with Texas Coffee Traders.
- What: One cambro of ready-to-serve coffee, with cups and fixings, for the evening opening reception. The optional nondairy creamer and any cambro return instructions still need confirmation.
- Instructions: We need a volunteer with a suitable vehicle who can transport the coffee upright and carefully to the Carver Museum before the 6 PM opening.

HOW TO HELP

Choose the pickup you can help with and tell us your availability. We'll confirm the assignment and provide any final pickup instructions before you go. Both opportunities are local, one-time tasks, and you do not need to be available for both.

Delivery destination: An ECHOES team handoff in Austin, arranged directly with the assigned volunteer.

Thank you for helping us share a little extra generosity with our community.
