About
Volunteers support the Boulder Public Library District's mission, which is to connect people, ideas, and information to transform lives and strengthen our community. We work with volunteers in a variety of ways, in both long-term and short-term capacities, depending on community needs.
- Follow this page using the "join" button in the right-hand corner to learn about opportunities to volunteer as they become available.
- All volunteer opportunities offered within the Boulder Public Library District will be posted on this page during recruitment periods. The Volunteer Services team occasionally sends out messages to recruit for upcoming projects.
- Find current opportunities under "volunteer opportunities" from the main menu above.
- Please consider time commitment, skills, experience, and screening required for specific volunteer roles, along with your professional and personal goals when deciding which opportunities to pursue.
- Your involvement matters more than you may know. If you sign up, please plan to follow through.
- If you must cancel, please update your registration or contact us to let us know of your change in plans as soon as possible.
- Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We hope to see you at the library soon!
